WE ARE 18!
In October The Bugle becomes one of the few global podcasts to turn 18! We’re celebrating with a live show, at London’s Leicester Square Theatre, which will be streamed live around the universe.
Having emerged into the nascent podcast universe in 2007, The Bugle, co-hosted by Andy Zaltzman and John Oliver for its eight-year first season, swiftly established itself as one of the leading sources of independently-verifiable satirical hogwash.
After Oliver stepped back from The Bugle to spend more time with his growing hoard of Emmy statues, Zaltzman relaunched the show in 2016 with a global cocktail of cohosts, two of whom – Nish Kumar and Alice Fraser – will join Andy for the 18th birthday live show.
Approximately 650 episodes and precisely 1.8 decades in the making, the Bugle 18th Birthday Live Live-Streamed Live Show will be streamed to every conceivable corner of the world, and will contain The Bugle’s trademark blend of topical satire, platinum-grade lies, and partially-digestible puns.
